First and foremost his family is most important. Leaving them for 60 days was a harder challenge than surviving for 60 days.
Having been diagnosed with cancer in 2013, Luke learned many lessons that would be vital in his success on "The Wheel"
During the 60 day challenge in 6 different locations in South America, Luke Caught 142 fish, 1 Caiman, 100's of snails and muscles and several unpleasant larvae.
With no survival training and no experience other than camping, Luke headed out into the wild alone with very minimal equipment and thrived! A testament to the power of a good and thankful attitude
Having gone though many trials and having a wide range of experiences, Luke approached his difficulties with a unique perspective. You wouldn't think that the Piranha in the amazon or a Caiman named Helga would relate to every day life, but Luke asks, what's your amazon? How do you deal with the Helgas in your life?
What can you learn from him being swarmed by ticks in the Wetland? How do you handle it when the oppressions of life, work or school swarm you?
After listening to Luke's story you will be inspired, motivated and encouraged to take on those challenges, to face those fears and to step out of your comfort zone.
